This locality of Sumatran Short Tail Python has been separated from the Southern black variant by a mountain range for many generations. They are distinct in their marbled pattern and of course that bright orange head!
This has to be one of my favorite animals in my collection, all Python curtus are small, docile, and beautiful but this locale's pumpkin head always makes me smile!
They are all captive born right here and almost all are pounding thawed hopper mice or anything else they can get into their mouths.
