    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Falys..where to draw the line???

Also this one has the split and upturned Rostral discussed above ;)
picture.php

i agree at a younger age the rostral is not a very good judge but the pointed crest on their heads i believe is. when they are adults i would not want my faly to have a rostral that is not curved down or strait.imo that is a good judge for adults along with the crest you should be able to be right 90% of the time unless the colours are way off!!! again this is just my opinion i dont take colours into account very much because they vary so much but there are those obvious colour traits that some lack also.

I agree. The first one I posted was WC as were all of Lee's

Funny how one of the WC you posted has the red outlined BB that Jim and others swore were signs of a cross:shrug01:

I was gonna say the same thing. LOL I'm not big on WC for most locales being all the extra you have to do with them and the extra work/treatments but the Faly WC are some of the prettiest chams anyone can see.

Maybe we should ask someone who is going to Madagascar to see if they can go to Nosy Faly and take some pics of wild males? Or get a bunch of pics of the wild males from an exporter?

Ask Olaf Pronk you can find him on fb. He lives in maddy and I have seen him post images of faly

Here are some taken by an exporter on the Island that have already previously been posted on CF. **THESE ARE NOT MY PHOTOS** I will be happy to give credit but I don't think he wants his name out there.

Wow that is some nice wc nosy falys :) well i guess them just having red is out of the question now... This boy is loaded with orange and red rain... Also look at the tops of all there heads you get the more pointed back of the head with falys.

I am starting to really get the pointed back of the head thing Lee!! Everyone I see seems to have this same trait. Good observation :D

Yes that is the only defining trait I see from 1 month old to adults. And crosses don't seem to carry that over unless the mom is faly.JMO ... Look at my baby pics they have that same pointed back of the head.

I really do think raiden must of been a cross me and yahkfathom had the same cham from the original raiden and nala pairing. We both started to think he was not pure faly so imo I think all raiden babies are not pure falys at this point(the owner of Raiden seems to think the same thing mind you). I think this all boils down too money as well and that is why so many tempers flair. Lets start just worrying about starting over with the breed and not trying to make it into some get rich quick type of scheme and I think that will be one giant step in the right direction.
