Opuntia ficus-indica has been grown for hundreds of years as a food source in Mexico. Nopales is very low in Saturated Fat and Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Iron and Copper, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium and Manganese.
