    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I dont understand why people want to post ads for buying and trading firearms on an animal classifieds site. Isn't that a crime to buy and sell AK 47s without the proper sales liscense? Cant they find some underground Rambo site to peddle thier guns.This is an animal site. no offense to anyone

What concern is it of yours, what items people choose to make available on this site? If it's not illegal or in violation of the site's rules, or in any way directly harming you, who really cares if people want to lawfully trade their firearms? In essence, it's no different than trafficking any other tangible good. It just has a more involved and regulated procedure.

Can't imagine why anyone would take offense to being called "Rambo", or the implication that legitimate gun traders should feel the need to carry out business in some seedy "underground" setting. There are a great many people who would take an equally dismissive stance with those who deal in reptiles.

As for the legalities, a few minutes on Google could have told you anything you want to know.

Apparently, my response was "mean and hateful", as the OP just sent me this email:

All i did was state an opinion.you didnt have to be hateful.sorry i offerded you.a simple i dont agree would have sufficed just fine instad of trying to make me look,like,an idiot.not everyone is mean and hateful im this world.no need to reply to my email.we all have an opinion.

I have to suspect that you need precious little help from me, when it comes to looking like an idiot. Regardless, if you can't handle a sensible rebuttal, maybe you shouldn't be quite so willing to put forth ignorant and insulting ideas. :shrug01: Is it just me, or is this guy a bit thin-skinned?

By the way, I don't currently own any guns, but that doesn't mean that I think others shouldn't have a right to buy/sell/trade them out in the open.

It is perfectly legal to sell firearms to any one you wish outside of your state of residence as long as the recipient takes possession of the firearm through their local FFL dealer. That being said, it is NOT against the law, federally, to directly sell to someone who is a resident of your own site, and it does not violate any state or local laws.

If someone wants to trade a firearm for reptiles or other merchandise, the TRANSFER of the gun comes under the same regulations.
