    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The account was banned because it indicated that it was from Precision Reptiles...and, most likely, Nick. After all, just how many #1 fans can Fauna have?
FWIW, the name in the profile field was pretty widespread during the presidential election (though I believe THAT guy was located in Illinois).

On a more personal note: I've read most of the thread concerning Nick & PRL and kept an open mind as I am a very fair person. As a possible future potential buyer I was a bit concerned about some of the things I read but was still undecided.

The scales have now been tipped over from the massive weight of this latest post. Thanks!

Yes, it does. This site has it's share of weirdos. However, it also has the uncanny ability to get to the bottom of an issue. I know of no other site that permits this.

You can call me an "a$$ kisser", or whatever, but I tend to go with what works.

You just have to be able to identify relevant info, and dismiss the nonsense.

Sort the "fly shit from the pepper", as my Dad used to say.

Bill, My post was not directed at Fauna, it was in reference to Dark Precision Forest Lab Reptiles or whoever started this thread as being the "Head of Lunacy". If you want to include yourself in that mess, I guess you should go for it?

I'll admit that Fauna can at time be frustrating. It seems every time I find what seems to be a good deal or a species I would really like to try working with when I check out the seller on Fauna they turn out to be not worth messing with.
Frustrating yes, but I'll be Fauna has saved me more wasted dollars than my wife's tight purse strings. LOL
I hope Fauna stays on line as is until I am dead and forgotten.

Well, that is all in the hands of the membership now. If you all want this site to live, YOU have to keep it alive.

By that I mean this site has to become much more active overall than it has been in the past. Particularly the classifieds and general discussion forums.

And secondly, this site cannot be a financial burden on my shoulders. Paying memberships are dropping rapidly, and banner ads have been reduced quite a bit as well. I've often heard people say they will vote with their dollars in a lot of situations, so I guess it is prudent for me to consider that this is happening with this site as well. :shrug01:

So really, the choice is yours............
 
C'mon folks, put your money where your mouth is. Especially if the BOI or even the rest of the site has helped you in some way. Money's tight yeah, but you don't have to give a lot, just what you can.

last time I read something like that, it was from High End Herps, where the only thing high was Damon Heynen also known as Brian smith also known as David Beauchemin also known as Josh the berm guy also known as a couple other names that I have forgotten

A contrubuting membership by a fair number of people who come to this site fairly often would go a long way to keeping it available. That would save those members and others a lot more than that. Others who won't contribute will gain from it for sure. but IF others benefit and you save twice what it cost, how does it hurt you.

Please people, Rich has tried to get help keeping this site going. If you can, help by becoming a contributing member.

I am not in a situation where I can just throw money around. But it is not that much of a sacrifice to contribute to keep this site around. And I'm sure you will get more out of it than you put in
 
Don't meen to double post, however.

I just did the math quick, contributing membership is less than 7 cents a day. IF/WHEN Fauna is not here any more would you give that up to have it back?
