    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry fauna member ballznboaz, Daniel Costello.

Yes, I understand there isn't much we can do with individuals like this person trying to scam others. But my main purpose was to raise awareness about this scammer and bring others up to current events with this issue. I don't want others to fall victim to his tactics.
 
I was recently informed that this person (Daniel Costello) has been using my pictures and ads for his scams. Please be aware that NONE of my tree monitors are available at the present time and NOBODY is authorized to market them as a "favor" to me. Please be on the lookout for these knuckleheads.

Hi Raquel,
Could you give more information about these claims? Where are these ads posted here on Fauna, Kingsnake, Craigslist, and so on? What username is Daniel Costello using in these ads? Do the ads say Daniel Costello as the seller or is it another one of his alias's? Also from what you say he is actually using your name in these ads along with your photos of your animals. So screen shots of these ads would be great to post here for people to see. This would be of great value for people rather than saying NONE of your monitors are for sale presently, as I'm sure most people don't know what monitors you own.

If the ads are no longer up maybe Nicholas Gill saved the ads or took screen shots if you didn't.

I think it's important to post as much as possible on this situation to help prevent others from being scammed.

That is a real sleazy con and ballsy to actually say he is selling these animals for you as a favor! Do you know him at all or ever dealt with him before? That really sucks for you and I'm sorry this person is using your name to try and pull off scams!
 
He didn't post anything stating that they were being offeredas a favor for me. I added that to be clear that they aren't available by me or anyone else....in retrospect it may have been confusing...I don't have the details as to where the ads were ran. All I have is a PM from djfishygills stating that this person was using my stuff as his own. Pethaps nicholas gill will see this post and comment regarding the details.
 
Thanks Raquel that clears it up a bit! That would be great if Nicholas will post more details on the matter. Still sucks that he is using your photos to possibly scam someone!!
