In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry Fauna user mattk24 some things don't add up any info??

I'm on my phone and can't see well. Does his photo have continued watermark over it? Additionally, the amount of blue versus face is out of proportion. Dl are designed to be close ups.

Nope it doesn't, I totally missed that one. It was a pretty good attempt but he definitely missed a few small details.

This is the missing watermark Robert is referring to.

Robert is also right about the amount of blue in his picture being out of proportion. These are what the picture should look like.

Not defending him, and obviously this guy is no good, but the name (Matt) COULD be someone's full name. My full first name is Katie. Not Katherine or Caitlyn (etc.). On my birth certificate and my ID, etc. Loads of people think it's short for something, but nope. Just Katie.

His name could be anything. Honestly because his English is such, I would have anticipated a Spanish name versus "Matt". Even the Spanish version of "Mateo". Like the guy on facebook "Mateo Castillo Kenton". It is not uncommon to Americanize your name after the fact.

Cumulative case says this is complete fake. Not even a very good one.

  • Blue background is all wrong color
  • Signature doesn't match even the slightest bit
  • Fonts for official type aren't quite right
  • Complete watermark over photo is missing
  • The number font of the photo watermark is much different than official samples
  • Ht/wt are obviously wrong
  • Birthdate is conveniently 8/31 like all official CA DMV sample images of Driver Licenses and ID Cards
  • Printed numbers under "Me", which are supposed to be the birthdate in the format MMDDYYYY, appear to show a number ending in either "1440" or "2440", and even if there is another ending number hidden under "Me", there is no valid birthdate that can be made from it... unless your name is Dracula

I could actually list more, but I think we all get the point.

Thing is, I have been using Photoshop for about 20 years, and I don't see some of the normal telltale signs of PHOTO manipulation... I'm inclined to think this is actually a "real fake ID", and we are seeing a picture of a real physical object, but it is a poorly done fake.

This calls into question several other things concerning legal residency and such which I won't conjecture about, but the implications are obvious.

My two cents... I'm happy to be shown to be wrong if I am.

Sorry, this was supposed to be either 2140 or 2440... either way, still impossible.

Matt's attitude here would be enough to dissuade me from purchasing from him. His responses have been very unprofessional, confrontational and defensive. If he cannot handle an inquiry asking for clarification on some information, how will he handle a situation when selling?

It is clear that English is not his first language, but that is irrelevant … until he lies about it.

Matt, post your full ID, obscuring only your address and don't write on it. There are a few inconsistencies that when addressed, may allay the doubts.

The fonts and kerning are off on the fake as well. Punctuation marks in particular are bad and the alignment is messed up where he changed the values from the template he used. Simple stuff that would have made it a much better fake.

08 31 is only the expiration date., i think a lot of people has that date

Also interesting to note the DOB shown on the fake ID does not match the DOB you used when registering for the site.

But yes, good sleuthing all, it was obviously a fake.

Was asked to provide his ID, provided it, then had it called fake. pretty sure there was nothing he could have provided you witch hunters wouldnt have just called fake to begin with. This whole thread is nonsense. He proved he had the animals when asked, he then proved he had ID when asked. But there is still nothing besides an old facebook location for the reasons this witch hunt started. Nothing proving a fake name, nothing proving a fake phone number, and nothing to prove fake ID. It is my firm believe that a couple of you were bored and decided a witch hunt would be fun. I doubt he could post a video of him being born with birth certificate to prove it and not be called fake. You know, it wasnt long ago that people actually required proof of wrongdoing before hopping onto a bandwagon like this one has rolled into.

Are you serious? It says right on it that your birth day is 8/31. My id expires on my birthday and is always renewed on my birthday. Pretty sure it's the same for everyone else. So the only people who have 8/31 expiration dates are those who were born on 8/31.
The part in bold is not 100% true. If you have a CDL with HazMat endorsement the dates can be different. I discovered that for one of my customers a while back when doing a background check on him, since we note both birth date and DL expiration date on the form we have to fill out.

OTOH that ID shown by "Matt" looks faker than a three dollar bill.

Bouncing at a night spot is not in your future, if you were convinced by that garage hack Driver's License.

I am not bored with anything, but the id in question looks like it was produce in the same batch as Mclovin.

Here is the thing. I want to believe him. I honestly do. But he has to start producing proof.

I have to ask you, what part of that id looks real?

Are you truly being serious here or just trying to wind us all up?
ANYBODY who would create (or buy) a fake id is obviously not somebody who is on the level or to be trusted to sell you a tadpole!
Add that to the terrible job on the fake id, the bad grammar, the belligerence when challenged etc etc
Good call by Jay on this character right from the start...

This whole thread is nonsense.

Yet, here you continue to find yourself posting. You propose that we only react "after the fact", don't vet unknown sellers, use any preventative measures or common sense. Great, good for you, live life with one eye closed and your head buried in the sand. Cry foul and ignore inconsistencies/fabrications all you like, but for those of us who have "actually" seen this time and time again, your cries to have us stop will just fall on deaf ears. If the day comes you are scammed online, please come back here and warn us after the fact about your scammer, we would love to refer you back to this thread and your naive comments.

To ignore is your choice, but not some of ours.

Nothing to prove a fake id? What more proof do you want? You say there is no proof of a fake name or phone number but do you have any proof it's real? That's what people asked for, proof that he's using his real name and lives where he says he does. If you want to run a business or sell things online you should expect people to question and want to know exactly who they are putting their trust in and sending money to. If you want to take a chance and just send your hard earned money to someone you have no clue who they really are be my guest but don't expect others to be willing to do the same. His reaction to simple questions was a huge red flag, a good honest person would not have reacted the way he did. Even if that person didn't want to post their information to the public they would have simply asked if it was ok to send the info to an admin who could report what they saw. He acted exactly like my child does when I catch her in a lie.

Ok, I was willing to entertain your posts before, but now you're just being plain silly. Can you point out anywhere in the past few pages where people HAVEN'T been proving that the ID *is* a fake? Yes, we're fully bored which is why we take time out of our days and decided that we were going to type in a thread where we know :censored: from shinola about this person and make his life a living crapstorm. You're totally right about that.

If I were that bored I could think of a lot more exciting things I could do with my life than to come on this forum and bother someone for being himself. But since he's not being fully truthful, then it bugs me and I say my peace. Kind of like you BS'n your way through your posts in this thread. Yet everyone else in it are the bored ones...

His reactions to simple questions and the fact that he kept saying "You need to find god" (or whatever equivalent it was; gist of it was the same) were HUGE red flags. Forget getting hyped up after someone asks for proof of who he was, before that his demeanor was just as cruddy and off-putting.

Yep, when I catch my kiddo in a lie she gets all huffy and mad and tries to deflect too. It must be code for, "Please catch me in my lie."
