• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hello BOI, First time post, long time reader. My dilemma is this, I want to get into African House snakes, and my budget is tight. It seems like my best option is wc's (unfortunately). With that said, the two most reasonably priced places to get them are First Choice Reptiles and Backwater Reptiles. I am wondering if I can gather a consensus on BOI. Past posts on here have given me a pretty mixed reviews and I have had transactions with both in the past. My FCR herps have kicked the bucket pretty soon after arrival (but not DOA), but no shipping problems. My Backwater order arrived on time and healthy, but it sounds like I might be the exception from what I read on BOI. Any advice besides flipping a coin? Thanks!
 
BOI threads need to be about one specific person or business. (Multiple names allowed if they are part of the same company, or if they are aliases.)

You may start inquiries about both parties separately.
