    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am disputing this charge.

They claim the actual weight was 10 pounds. NEVER !

I thought Fed-Ex was supposed to be a good carrier, not a rip you off carrier. :hot:

That sucks.
The killer is all the "extra" charges. I hate those. popping up everywhere. A cell phone bill that is suppose to be $49.99 is $60 or $70, and not all of it is taxes. Stuff like "charges to offset government fees" or "regulations", and other crap. That stuff should be part of doing business. It use to be they incorporated that into the cost and still charged enough to make a set profit. Now, they seperate it. Thing is, they still keep the same profit margin, but now you pay all the extra fees, so the net increase for these companies is an increase in profit margin, while blaming the fees on outside sources.

Just like this bill....In addition to the weight charge, there is;
fuel surcharge-I bet that is the same as it was at the beginning of the rate hike, even thought the prices for fuel here has dropped something like .60 a gallon where I am.

Transportation charge-WTF? that's what their business is, transporting packages. They charge extra for it? that's the dumbest thing I've every heard of.
 
That is nuts, I sent a 12x12x8 box and it was $40.88 but they delivered it 3 hours late so there are not as good as I thought they were!
