    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

We have a Packman Frog who is about 3.5 years old. She is 3 inches wide and 4 inches long. What kind of feeders can we give her? Her mouth is HUGE so what is big enough to interest her as food? She looks at crickets like they're annoyances and not dinner. She befriends feeder fish. She must be a prey activist!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. :D

Have you tried pinkies or hoppers? I believe the rule of thumb is for the food to be half the body size of the frog to avoid overfeeding. I feed my frog supers, pinkies, large comets and the occasional rat pup. Hope that helps any.

When I had a large pacman I would feed it a hopper and wait for it to poop, then I would feed it again. Being that they will eat to the point they gorge and kill themselves, I always waited for the previous meal to be digested and defecated. You don't want your pacman to prolapse it's stomach. It's not fun having to put it back in....... Trust me!!!

Large comets (a type of goldfish), are also called large feeder goldfish by some petstores. They are usually around $.25 each and average about 1.5 - 2" in size.

I would once to twice a week depending on when he pooped out the last meal. Usually once a week.

Variety is the Key

Just a quick reminder that you shouldn't rely solely on pinkies and hoppers to nourish your Pacman. Try some Large Silkworms, Earthworms, Adult Crickets and Supers as well. I would only feed your Pacman once or twice a month a Pinkie/Hopper, very high fat content for either which is not healthy at every feeding.

Wow, this is some great info! We'll go to the store and try to find some large comets. Maybe the ones we were offering were to small. And we have superworms on hand, so we'll try that too. Thanks for the suggestions!

Oh, one more question. How big can these guys really get?

Pacman Size?

I've never owned a Pacman, I'm strictly into Treefrogs but I've seen some close to the size of a dinnerplate!
They are voracious eaters and have even been known to eat there cagemates of smaller sizes if housed together and not fed properly. Google it for more info on Horned Frogs.
