In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

hey guys, i posted here about two months ago.. The female ball python i purchased had laid eggs.. Anyways not the eggs are hatched.. 3 out of six.. 3 died.. =( But i was wondering its been 3 and a half weeks and i cant seem to get them to eat.. Ive tried rat pinkies (frozen and alive) How long can these babies go without eating.. It is starting to scare me.. they have gone through thier first shed.. and do you guys have any tips or tricks to get them to eat.??? any help or comments would be greatly appreciated

Try some hopper mice. Sometimes they seem reluctant to take rats at first. Good luck.

Give them a nice secure hidebox just big enough for them to wedge in with a little room away from the entrance and let the settle in for a day or two. Put in some dampened paper towels to raise the humidity in the hide. Then towards evening drop a fuzzy mouse right at the mouth of the hide. This sometimes sparks a feed response.

I had 4 CBB Ball Pythons that did not feed for me for 4 weeks this year. I found the best way that worked for me. Use the craziest hoppers, those real wild ones that just make you want to feed them to a truck tire. All 4 of them ate within 2 days. The babies may seem too small for hoppers but they can take them. My CBBs were 48-50 grams, really small. Make sure you use the freakiest little hoppers LATE at night, then run like a bat out of ----.

I learned this trick from Ralph Davis.

Another method which worked for me is to put the snake and the live hopper in a brown paper bag. Fold it and tape or staple the bag shut and leave it alone. Check on it in a few hours. good luck!
