Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hey all, first post here. I just received 2 alligator snapping turtles on 8/10. They hatched out 8/3. Neither has fed as of yet. I have tried feeder guppies, worms, and crickets. Water temp is 80, and they are in about 3 inches of water with plants and driftwood.

Any suggestions? I have never started a turtle from a hatchling.

They are probably not hungry yet.

They live off their egg yolk for awhile before they eat.

Give them another week or so.
