In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I need help. I feed my gecko a couple of crickets every othe day, and he is getting extremely fat. Could someone tell me how much and how often they feed thier leapard gecko.

i feed my hatchlings and juvis everyday or every other day... my adults and sub adults i feed about 2-3 times a week.
i feed manily meal worms and super worms. my adults and sub adults eat approx. 5-8 supers per feeding (depending on the gecko)... my hatchlings and juvies well i just feed them what they will eat..... for instance i start my hatchlings off on 2-3 mealies per feeding and see how they do, my month and a half babies eat around 8-12 mealies per feeding. so basically it depends on what and how much and how often you feed your animal.

Wait, wait!! There's no such thing as feeding a leopard gecko too much! If you're leo is still growing, that's especailly true. I've had some that were going along great and then all of a sudden started losing weight. They need to overeat and build fat storage for the times they go off feed; winter, breeding, stress, mood swings (lol), etc. So please, unless your gecko is so chubby that she's like Garfield and can't get around, let her keep eating as she is.

Fat?

Also, if your gecko seems suddenly fat, and it's a female, it IS the leopard gecko breeding season...she may not be fat at all, but may instead be preparing to present you with some eggs--in which case, you want her to eat as much as possible, and provide plenty of calcium. Judge how fat a leopard gecko is by their tail, not by their waistline.

Feeding

I have 7 Leopard geckos and all get super worms atleast 8 in there bowl every day or every other day, also they have a dish of calcium in there enclosure at all times.
