    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

feeding problem

I don't so much have a problem helping with the problem of the non-feeding snakes, but you really have to lighten up some. When someone criticizes you in the least bit, you get mean spirited by calling them things like grandpa and stuff. Lighten up, when someone brings your age into it, it isn't because they think you are doing something WRONG because you are 16, it is because maybe you don't KNOW as much as you think you do. Remember, all of us were 16 before, and unless you are the perfect kid, you are bound to make mistakes, just like the rest of us did. We are all here to help eachother, and when you get defensive by things people say to you, it will just place firmly in someone mind that they don't want to help you again because the help they give just isn't worth the abuse they will receive. Think about that.. :)

thanks for the advice grandpa. sorry if i miss-interpeted what you said but i hold down 2 jobs and have more then enough money to support my animals. :thumbsup: . and only 1 of my snakes is having a problem not my other 3.

Anytime. And try to keep in mind where yer at. It's easy to take things out of context when reading online. I've done it myself a time or two.

I would really suggest you get at least one more cage, to house at least the problem feeder in, before it progresses to more serious problems. That's the best advice I can give at the moment.

If you would rather build one, have at it, if you wish to buy one, we can put you in the right direction. But I believe that's what your going to have to do eventually anyway.

Again, good luck!

It don't bother me that much. I was 16 once. I remember what it's like when yer nuts start to drop. Hormones are terrible things to a youngster. LOL It's when you control them that maturity begins.

they drop at 14 not 16. hormones have nothing to do with this. and i never said the cage was built for 1 snake. its about 8ft long, 6 ft tall, 4 feet wide.

Well, (still offering advice here) that's way more room than they need, and they probably love the ability to roam around, but the advice about housing them seperate.........I gotta stand by it.

Boas don't need climbing space. 18 inches high is more than enough room even for a large boa. Floor space.......I can tell you that a coiled up 8 ft Boa uses about 2 1/2 sq ft. all flattened out. A 2'x4'x18"H cage is pleanty adequate for a boa for quite a while. Till about 8 ft. anyway.

A bookshelf style system can make about 4 cages stacked up. At 4-5 ft wide and 2 feet deep, it would not take up as much space as your $900 cage, and you could properly house your snakes. For their own good that is.

But again, that's just advice. You can use it how you see fit. Perhaps turn the big one into a weekend comunity center or something. LOL
