In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Feeding question...

Last night I got the cage cleaned, switched back over to newspaper, added another hide, blacked out the window and she just went into shed. Once she sheds I will try another feeding.

So... I decided to throw all the crazy thoughts out my head, took the black outs out of her window, threw some newspaper in there with a little aspen on top, let her sit for 2 weeks, ignoring her completely, threw a large f/t rat in there, she didn't take it immediately, so I left it overnight, guess what!!! The rat is gone! After almost 4 months she has taken a meal. Thanks everyone for the help, but also wanted to thank Gerry at ssscales.com for the extra support as well.

Congrats on getting her to eat again. Usually my balls are the only ones to give me problems, but I took in a rescue CA boa almost 2 years ago and it took me a little while to get her eating (she had not been taken care of at all for nearly a year!!), but before I knew it she was eating 2 med EVERY 5 days....and then one day she stopped. I think I only managed to get her to eat twice in about an 8 month period. I started her back about a month ago with a big pup/small sm and now she's back up to a med, eating every week. Go figure! Hopefully yours will be consistent now. Good luck!!

Good to hear! Follow that outline for a few meals, then slowly start working yourself back into the relationship.

Glad she ate though.
