    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have several Brazilian cherryhead females that I am making available for now. All are females with size. Some are LTCs (long-term captives). Some of those LTCs are *very* LTC (in captivity longer than many people reading this are old) and some are "only" LTC (in captivity longer than the ages of children of many people reading this).

Each will be individually enumerated to make advertising simpler for me. Each individual available will have its own post in this thread. If you find a gap in the numbers, that is because an animal with that assigned number has been held back instead of being offered for sale.

These can add diversity to a group, enhance a specific attribute (color of the scales or something like marbling/variegation) in a project, add volume to a smallish group, or be pets. However, even if you view these as pets, I encourage you to breed them instead of taking their genes out of the larger market. Outflow of healthy animals from diverse lineages within this kind of locality-focused project helps other breeders maintain or improve healthy lines of their own and they can then go on to continue offering offspring of quality to people who want a single tortoise as a pet. Pulling a good-quality adult out of breeding circulation removes its contribution to its species in captivity. There are times when removing an animal like that is the way to go. For the animals I am listing here, it is not the way to go, so keep these making little ones, please.

Eating what cherryheads eat. If you do not already know how to care for a Brazilian cherryhead, these animals are not for you.

Female is ~10.5" straight carapace length. LTC (long-term captive). Age unknown.

Orange tones. High marbling/variegation history with indicators of that showing when wet. There was a point in its juvenile development where it would have looked mostly white. Some neck color present.

Female is ~10.5" straight carapace length. LTC (*very* long-term captive). Age unknown.

Beautiful smoothness. Red forelimb and other accent scales. The head is somewhat faded, but she looks like she was rather bright red when young. Some neck color.

Female is ~9" straight carapace length. LTC (*very* long-term captive). Age unknown. Ones like this are why some people call cherryheads "dwarf" cherryheads (they are not, but that is a long story less appropriate for advertisement).

Masculinized with age (if you do not know what that means, it is that the tail becomes larger and the plastron develops a light concavity for some females if they have been alive for a long time). Big, dark eyes. Beautiful smoothness. The head has dimmed with age, but appears to have been bright red originally. Crazy old marbling/variegation history (shows best when wet).

Has split scutes. There is a little color on the neck. Color on the neck and lineages with color on the neck are useful for stepping up the quality of future offspring in a project. Some marbling/variegation on the shell.
