    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a female eclectus available. She appears to be a red-sided based on her tail colors, but with all the intergrading going on with this species, there's no telling. She's on the smaller side. She's a light plucker on her chest, but nothing terrible. She likes to ride on a shoulder and tolerates petting, but isn't huge on affection. She's also not so entirely bonded with people that she wouldn't make a breeder.

I'm offering her for sale for $500. If you get her locally or if I can deliver her to you, you can get her older cage for free. If you want her shipped, the cage obviously won't be able to accompany her. Shipping would be through Delta for a flat rate of $100 plus $30 for a crate.

Here are a couple pics:

If interested, please e-mail [email protected] or call 479-477-0434. And please no "charity cases." If you take in birds to give them a good home, that's great! However, it doesn't mean I'm going to give her to you free.

Bird needs imediate HELP

I live in Ohio or I would take her ASAP! Do you know this is a S.I. Ekkie and she is in need of a special diet. I own a pair of these birds and this one is malnorished. Feed her 1/2 egg shell and all mixed with BROWN WHOLE GRAIN RICE! thats breakfast. Then cook up some 16 bean soup mix. Soak over night then boil 15 mins. Thats supper! lunch feed her bannas apple ect with maybe a green peopper. My female weights about 540 grams. She is big check her breast bone see if any fat is there! I am not a noitall or a gooffy I just love all birds and to see one like this is sad. I AM NOT SAYING ANYTHING BAD ABOUT TO OR IN ANY WAY INSULTING YOU! These birds are missunderstood and sometimes a diet causes all the trouble. My email is [email protected] any ? I will do all I can for her.

Thank you for the information. I am aware that eclectus require a different diet than most other Psitticines. I try to give mine as much sprouted food as I can with fruits and such as treats. Keep in mind, the pictures in this ad were taken back in early January, which was less than a month after we acquired her.

I care Thanks for your reply!

I want you to know I understand these birds, I love them but I had my female pull her down out because I had a noisy weekend with kids running around. It was out of her experence and she freeked. I immeditly moved her to a more protective area. These birds are sensative to alot and maybe just the moved freaked her out. I just wanted to help ya with a diet they are a little wierd I mean a bird who eats 16 bean soup mix! Mine loves Gabonsa's and peas ! I hope you find a home for her! Joken
