Beautiful young Northern blue-tongue skink -- just 15-months old. Almost certainly a female based on the smaller & shorter head and wide torso. Around 95% likelihood of being female although still unproven as it has not been bred.
Should be large enough to breed in spring 2022.
Originally produced by me in 2020. I sold several babies to a buyer who recently sold them back to me. Mother was out of a Sunset/Turner lineage and father out of a Thunder Bay Florida line.
It was kept in group (NOT recommended!) and has tiny scar on lower lip from a fight with a cage-mate. Fully healed but scar is still slightly visible. Again, should be breeding size for this coming season.
Very friendly during handling.
It is about 20-inches in length and will grow somewhat larger. 650 grams. Eats various skink salads of dog food, ground turkey, eggs, tomatoes, peas, etc. Also, young adult mice and rat pups (thawed -- not alive).
Excellent temperament and easy to handle.
