In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

FINALLY!!!!

We Finally have eggs!!

I found these this morning. The weight of the clutch is 667grams. There are 6 eggs. One was a roll out, I don't know why but she was not coiled around that one. I put them all in the incubator though.

Wilma is a reduced pattern 06 female. This is her first clutch.

Here are the eggs just before they went into the incubator.

Here is a picture of mom right after I removed the eggs and cleaned out the cage.

And here is a picture of Dad (Wilbur). He is about to shed so he is looking a little dull.

Congratulations! Those are great looking parents, I love reduced spiders. Do you know if the mom is genetic?
And now we play... the waiting game.

Thank you!
I dont know if she is genetic or not. She was a CH baby. I just thought she would make a good mate for a spider when I got her.

She looks like she could be a genetic reduced Tiger/Banded animal...

Hoping it carries over for you as that would be sweet!!!

Best of luck to you on your clutch!!

Have any of you had an egg that the female wasn't coiled around? I was calling it a "rollout" but I don't know the proper term for it. Anyway, do you know if they normally hatch?

I am a little worried about the little guy.

The girl usually knows something's not right with the egg when she does that. But I'd try to incubate it if you're going to do it artificially anyways- good luck getting her to do it though if you're letting her do the clutch.

Congrats!!

I have had 1 roll out so far this season. I incubated it anyway, it molded after about a week. When dissected there was a 2inch baby looking very much like a worm. Dark eyes and the start of a mouth. The head was round.

I beleive it was a good egg that just didn't get in the wrap. I believe it rolled and died. Drowned? wrong side up basically.

I believe it may have survived, if it hadn't rolled.

Okay guys 2 eggs pipped on sunday overnight so monday morning we cut the rest of the eggs. We have 2 spiders and 4 normals, by monday night everyone was peeking out. This morning I checked again and one of the spiders was 3/4 of the way out of it's egg and one normal was all the way out. I couldn't find my camera so I searched this morning again and I found it. Here is a pic of everyone this morning.

Oh and the roll out egg was one of the first to pip and it is a spider!!!

That little guy is still sitting in her egg. Hopefully she will be out this evening.
