I got a Kenyan Sand Boa about 4 months ago. When I got her the guy said she ate 2 live mice a week, she'd been feeding on live mice since she was a hatchling. One of my big things is that my snakes feed on frozen thawed. Sure I have some picky snakes (the freakin' Balls) and from time to time will have to make the trip to the pet store, but it's so much easier (and cheaper) to grab feeders from my freezer. Now this snake refused any attempts at trying to feed her frozen/thawed, for a while I didn't care as she was chunky when I got her. Then I would pick up live mice and she'd eat them with gusto. So tonight when I wiggled the mouse in front of her, she actually showed some interest. I left her alone in the box with the mouse as usual and came back in an hour...no mouse
. Finally.
