I gotta say, as I look through threads, the fined/suspended list is growing by the minute and contains some good people and good contributors. I don't know the specifics of each one but where is this site heading? Seems to be in the wrong direction to me. Am I wrong? (I'm sure some mods will tell me I am but we all know about the double standard that exists there).

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, why don't you say more about what you think a better path might be, and how you would get there?

I don't have a better path. What I see is a site that had value in the BOI but has become pretty meaningless on the rest of the site. Very little participation for the amount of users. Quality people fined and suspended (ill spare you the list since you know it). It seems that it is more about generating revenue than creating a community where people feel comfortable asking questions and getting answers.

I see a lot of quality people on that list as well. But they put THEMSELVES on that list. I wish some would come back and others I am happy they are gone.

Where are you seeing this list, I really do not focus on such things since I prefer to be a builder and facilitator, I don't even know where such a list is posted.

I'm curious, where have you see me be antagonistic to you? Most generally do not view me that way, but sometimes we need the reflections of others to grow and change.
With a positive attitude, both sides meet in the middle and antagonism evaporates.
I think, that if we stop here and work together toward a better site, we will meet in the middle and there will be no antagonism. I think that is a good and positive way to try to make this a better place.
