In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Fire and Ice Dragons (Terri Sommella)

Yes Deborah... I have definately been lucky so far :) I'm just waiting for the day when I have to hit that refund button. I can understand the fees statement then.. Hope she comes through for you!

As I stated earlier, I would post once Terri sent the refund. The refund was sent via paypal this morning. Terri followed through with her commitment. I appreciate the members of the community for helping out.

Terri, if you read this, while this transaction may not have went smoothly for either party, I do thank you for making this right. I do hope that both of us took away a learning experience to avoid such troubles in the future. Thank you for issuing the refund.

Glad you got this settled Josh!

Terri.. I'm glad you were able to take the cement off your feet and take care of this in a professional manner.. Sometimes it's in your best interest to bend with the rules instead of standing so rigid :) Glad this was resolved for the both of you.

Good Job Terri!

I understand Christmas is coming and you're stressed out or something, but I hope you don't treat all your potential customers this way. Now I feel obligated to look elsewhere.

Thanks anyway.

A juvenile set up according to our shopping list is cheap. The adult set ups are different and there are options.

Okay, but can you at least give me a ball park figure of how much everything will cost? Assuming I get your $400-$500 bearded dragon. I can't spend money on something if it doesn't fit my budget.

Hi there,
I was reading through your "care sheet" webpage and came across www.customcages.com. I emailed them asking what you use and they told me either their package A or package B option. Here's the link to that page: http://www.customcages.com/index.cfm?do=list&categoryid=1

Do you use package A or B? Is the lighting included the same that you use or different? Did you only buy the terrarium itself and buy the lighting separately?

I don't have a bearded dragon right now, but very interested and want to make sure I understand all the costs and what I need before I get one. I'm using your care sheet and "The Bearded Dragon Manual" I purchased to set myself up correctly.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!
-Lynden

New Potential Bearded Dragon Owner

I didn't even know who Terri was until today when I emailed her and after her responses I was so unnerved I googled her name and found this forum. I'm glad I did because everyone here who had problems with her has saved me greatly. Thanks for your posts. I'm just someone who's interested in Bearded dragons and trying to do my research first before getting one. I just rehomed my two sugar gliders the other day to a good home in Phoenix, AZ because I'm moving to CA (they are illegal in CA) and I think a bearded dragon is the ideal pet for me. If anyone knows a reputable breeder in CA that I can do transactions with in person please let me know. I am very interested.

Lynden - the BOI is not the place to request references for other breeders (unless you are posting an inquiry about a specific breeder). This post is about Terry Sommella, aka Fire and Ice Dragons.

would love to buy a dragon from them but they are odd when it comes to selling dragons

every time i try to purchase one they refuse to send pics of what i will be purchasing, always saying it is top quality collector quality etc

but i won't be dropping 500 on a dragon that i can not get pictures off

Nor should you have to. The days of breeders giving us what they WANT to give us are so OVER (IMO).:ack2:

Or she knows you will try to scam her as you are trying to scam Nick and Repti-racks.. just to name a couple.:dunce:

That was an easy shot....and one that many of us thought of, but decided to leave that topic to the thread in which it started.
Neither of those things change the fact that there could be a solid ring of truth to it; but let's not continue in that direction. It isn't for us to justify how/why Terri does things.

You got it Harold. I apologize, could not restrain myself.

meh never scammed either, when you can show me proof of me owning the cage and the money then speak.or when you can prove nick has the cage and i have my 313.00 then you can speak until then i lol at you.

moving along.

Almando,
You reported the post well after it was addressed right here in this thread, then proceeded to continue with the off topic disruption after I said it needed to be kept in the other thread and not continued here. Your reading comprehension needs some work.

My mistake Harald. I'll check elsewhere about reputable breeders.
