In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Found these this morning. The breeding was a Dr Jay male Dh Ghost to a light normal female. It was a first for both of them. Very small litter but I am happy with what I got. 12 babies and 6 slugs. Unfortuantely 3 of the babies were still born or momma got them. Out of the 9 remaining I have 5 Hypo poss het anery and 4 poss het anerys.

It would appear daddy's small tail strip proved out. Two of the dead babies had real nice stripes too. That one in the middle is something else. I'll get individual pics up when they have all settled in.

On a side note, it would appear my anery female took from this same male, she is getting nice and fat. I should have some nice ghosts in the near future.

Sweet Dennis. Looks like the mot did his job this year so we may be talking later. The striped one is SWEET.

Good deal Dennis. Looks like some fine looking critters too. i like that striped one you pointed out. Looks insane in that picture. Looks to be a Salmon too.

Hope that stripe proves out with your Anery female also. Some striped Ghost would look really neat.

Thanks for sharing!
Rick

Congrats on the litter. Awesome stripes.
Good luck with the other litters.

I hope to be there soon.
I have a pair of 06 anerys and 0.1 06' ghost, that I hope will make me some ghosts, in a year or two.

All but the little stripped one have shed. And the stripped one is deep in shed right now. Here are pics of the 5 hypos from the litter. The last one is not a great example but it still carries the genes...lol

Nice looking babies Dennis. That striped one is pretty wicked looking. I bet Bryon tries to talk you out of it. :yesnod:   The others have some real nice color showing on their lower ends.

Just curious, since I'm blind, or the pictures are a bit dark. What made you go with Hypo on the last one?

I had a couple that I thought were close calls, and went with normal. Just curious if there is a secret trick or something. LOL I know you can have different degrees of Salmon expression.

The pic of the last one is pretty dark. It actually looked more like a salmon before it shed. It has quite a bit of orange blushing on the sides of the tail. Looking at it post shed has me wondering too and I may just end up calling it a normal. I'll probably let that one shed at least one more time before I make my mind up. No secret trick, this is my first salmon breeding...lol

Yeah, I still have one, that's at least 1/3 reversed striped, that hasn't shed yet. I don't know what to call it either. LOL It's awful pink for a normal though.

My first Salmon litter too. One of my favorite mutations though. Interesting what can pop up. Hopefully that ends up being a Salmon for you.

Rick

I would do such a thing? Me? I'm flabbergasted , shocked ..... shocked to my fuzzy little toes. I am really.

If I were to do such a thing it would be merely because I see and appreciate quality.

LMAO , I'm full of crap too.

You should be able to go by eye color as well. I'm not sure as to the extent but the eyes tend to be red in hypos.
