    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

So back in October I decided to try my hand at finally breeding one of my females. At the start I only had 2 males and one was a normal. So needless to say I used the normal x normal until my bell line pastel male took over. The normal x normal pairing only lasted a little less than a month so I'm really hoping to see some good looking pastels. Not much of a first clutch but I did manage to do so I am EXCITED. She laid 5 good eggs with no slugs and it's her first clutch as well.

I've been talking about it all morning long. Words cannot describe getting lucky enough to witness an egg popping out. Greatest thing ever!

wait until you walk to your incubator, open it, and see these little heads poking out looking at you!

Huge Congrats! It never gets old either... good luck on some sweet babies.

Thanks! Would really be nice if I could land a good looking pastel female to match the sire. If I do, here's to making some good looking Super Pastels later.

That day cannot come soon enough.

Congrats, my first was a pastel X normal, and it produced some very "odd" babies. I am hoping to prove them out this year.

Thanks! I'm happy just producing something my first time. Bred 1 female the entire season and hit 5 no slugs. Can't really complain about those odds. Started breeding several other big normal girls with a couple of my 2 gene males back in March and they are all glowing now. Very exciting! Also congrats on producing some odd babies. Hope they prove out for ya this season. If so, post here so I can see what ya get. And would you mind posting what you're working with?

If I had that much going within the first couple of years I would be hating it myself. That's some pretty nice pairings. Pastave is what I'm hoping to produce this upcoming season. Gonna pair my 1.0 pastel lesser x mojave once the fall gets here. She didn't make weight this time but will be around 2k in November. Hoping for some pastave, Bel, and possibly a pastel Bel.

Thought I would post an update on this clutch. It's still my only one for the season but it has hatched. I ended up with 4.1 normals. Mom has gained almost all her lost weight back and is gearing up for another season this fall.
Female is the far right and the males are the four on the left. Several came out really light and some great blushing along the back pattern. I'll get some extra pics after they shed out.

I really like the bottom left. Super dark pattern! And definitely some neat stuff going on with the normals. Holding them all back or possibly letting something?
