First Clutch is Hatching!

I just found out less than an hour ago...but I couldn't wait 'til more were out to post!!!!

This little guy is the only one with his head out, but the egg in the upper-left of that picture has a slit in it, so that one's not far behind! SO EXCITED to have my very first babies!!!

Well, there's still only one with its head out, so peeked in the rest of the eggs just enough to see what was there. I'm pretty sure I have three Lessers and five normals. I feel bad about feeling kinda disappointed.... As long as they're all healthy, I should be happy. Besides, three Lessers really isn't too bad of odds! Plus, the one Lesser who is almost out looks GORGEOUS!

I'll be posting pictures as soon as they start coming completely out of their eggs!

Not much to update today. All three Lessers have stuck their heads out at some point or another. One normal has slit its egg, but the rest of the suspected normals haven't done anything yet.

But hey, that means the Lessers will probably be leaving their eggs first, so y'all will get pics of them first! From what I can see, they are taking after their daddy: wacky over-the-spine yellow patterns and massive flames. (Yep, even as newly-hatched snakes, their flames go all the way up to the side pattern!)

Finally! Someone to hug and cuddle...and photograph!

This is the Lesser with her head sticking out (in the first picture I posted). Pretty sure she's a she. If I hold back a Lesser, it'll probably be this one.

I'm amazed at how much her pattern echoes her dad's. Oh, and she's only 52.5 grams! (Not surprising since Irulan's eggs were all kinda on the small side.)
