In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

After a long hiatus imposed by an ex, I got back into keeping snakes in 2011 intent on breeding them. My wife and I started with hatch-lings of a variety of pythons and have been raising them up for the past few years.

Well, I just got my first clutch of 6 eggs today. The pairing was a Randy Wright male to a Barry Miller female woma. I am super excited about it.
Now the waiting...

Mom, dad and pre-children... in that order
Her scales got a bit messed up while pushing around in the egg box as she was laying. Poor thing looks all worn out right now.

ho yeah, I'm sure the "half egg" is not viable, just tossed it in to see what happens. It will probably turn yellow and get tossed in a short time.

So the 6 good eggs are looking good. I candled them the other day and the dark mass in the bottom of the egg (embryo) was moving around a little bit now; my wife was giddy when she saw this.
The egg on the top has caved in slightly but the embryo was moving and it looks intact inside so I am not to worried about it.
They are due as early as May 26 (60 days from being laid).
Super excited, Not just for my first clutch but also because baby womas are so cool.

Awesome, and congrats. Baby womas are great (so are adults and juvies!)

Had I noticed this thread 2 months ago, I would have advised you to dry your substrate out a bit - woma eggs tend to run into problems with moisture - but it looks like they fared well.

Thanks everyone.
I fed the first 3 yesterday since they shed Sunday. They took f/t right from the tongs with no hesitation; just a slow motion grab.
I have to say, these are the easiest snakes I have ever started. The rest should shed in the next few days and then I will feed them.
I'm really happy with these lil guys
