    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've been registered to Fauna for a while now but this is my first time posting. I wanted to say I'm becoming an avid Leopard Gecko lover. I currently have a Albino (unsure if he is a rainwater or term per) and a mack snow female. I'm also doing breeding on a small scale as well. She laid back on march 21st. Her first egg was infertile and her second was absolutely beautiful. I'm incubating for a female. One issue I'm having is since her first clutch she hasn't laid again. She isn't egg bound but I do see the eggs. Has anyone heard it taking longer than 4 weeks to lay another clutch?

I've had a couple go that long. Sometimes they can reabsorbed. Geckos really vary. I have some that lay every two weeks and others that have taken a month.

Thanks for the reply! My only worry is that it has been longer than a month. I usually try to check or 2 to 3 times a week just to check on her. The last time she laid was on march 11th. I had bought her from a pet store and they said she was roughly around a year to a year and half maybe 2. I was also wondering if maybe they had it wrong and this was her first breeding season or maybe she is on her last limb breeding because she is older?

You should probably post about it in the gecko discussion area. That way you get more responses.
