    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thanks for looking in here. I been having trouble hooking up my flexwatt to a 9 tub rack system I made from melamine. My original setup was for the belly heat. Some will heat up and some wont. i keep bending and unbending and breaking those expensive metal clips. And Im so stressed that its not even funny.

I was thinking wouldnt it be better just to run the whole sheet of flexwatt on the back of the rack and just give it good ambient temps?. I think it'll be easy just to do it like this, but I feel thats not gonna be a good idea for some reason. Whats everyones take on this?
 
i use back heat on my racks and am happy with it. The bottom shelves can get a bit cool so if you wrap a bit extra on the last shelf underneath, itll keep things more stable.

The flex i use on both, is 11"
 
Man 11" flexwatt going down sounds so much easier to hook up. I think thats where I move forward to. I live here in miami and I have the room where I sleep at heated with a thermostated heater with the A/C vents closed. Im dying at night and need air.lol :ack2:
 
I have both and can't say there's that much of a difference. Of course the room is at a constant basal temperature of 75 F, which I believe helps particularly those snakes warmed with the vertical tape.
