    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Quibbling over animals is one thing -- a threat is another (and a great reason NEVER to do business with this company). The just-as-crazy part of outright denying the actual text of emails sent to me just gives the whole thing an eerie evil feeling (composed, calculated lying vs. in-the-moment yelling, etc.).

That's just my take on it. I am more than capable of being objective on the matter given the distance I have between the event and now, and the newt is nothing -- the way I was treated will never be forgotten, though.

The thing is Predators has a track record of defending these people. As long as they made any pathetic attempt at "making things right" you're supposed to shut up and just take it. Never mind about the unacceptable behavior, you got a green tree frog that was collected for free from a Florida back yard, costing them nothing, instead of the newt you asked for so you should shut up and feel lucky.
 
This entire thread could be simplified if all parties involved simply provided screen captured images of the e-mail exchange(s).

Granted that isn't irrevocable evidence, it would take more time, effort, and possibly skills than at least one party involved lacks to fake it. Opposed to he said she said text altering.
