11.5”male Fly River turtle for sale. Very interactive and personable. Eats great - diet primarily consists of algae wafers ( his favorite) Mazuri and various fruits/veggies. He lives with small schooling type fish and has never shown any aggression towards them.
Only selling due to the fact that I’ve moved and am unable to continue to provide him with the aquarium space he deserves due to this move. A great home is an absolute must.
I posted him previously in the winter and had a lot of interest but no one local like I was hoping for. Unfortunately since then he has developed a small spot of a possible fungal infection on his shell as pictured below. This area is shallow and only the size of a dime at most. This is likely due to the fact that I have been unable to do as regular of water changes as I used to because I have since moved and he is being housed 3.5 hours away while we sell our house. He is still otherwise healthy and eating great. I am in need of finding a great home for him. I am asking $1500 which reflects the fact the buyer will need to treat the small fungal infection. I am also now willing to ship him via cargo to buyer’s closest airport at buyers expense. I have an experienced local reptile shop owner who will help me handle this.
