    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I did not vote. I am not sure how I would feel about a long distance relationship. I guess it would depend on how long the distance is? Sometimes I just need to be able to be with that person i am with right then and there. I am not talking about sexually just being with them at the moment.
 
I would never do it. So we could "chat" or whatever? Umm...no. Does anyone remember when relationships involved two people and MAYBE an occasional phone call? Relationships didn't include text messages, twitter, facebook, emails, video chatting, or "cyber" anything. Am I old fashioned for wanting to actually "lock" with my girl every once in a while? LOL.
 
All just depends on the situation really. I've been in long distance relationships and ones that were close by....they both have their pros and cons. I'm a bit of a solitary person so sometimes it actually works for me better in some ways. I'm actually in the middle of a long distance relationship with my exwife.....we're making an attempt at a reconciliation and she lives in Nashville while i'm down here near Atlanta.
 
I had to chime in on this one even though i am no longer single, but had to say that the reason im no longer single is because i took a chance on a long distance relationship...i met my wife in a chatroom and got along, we kept emailing and iming over severl months and eventually moved to Tx from Cali. Weve been together 11 yrs now and its the longest relationship ive ever had as well as the best...and no we didnt have much in common but have gotten to know each other well.
 
I personally wouldn't be able to do it. As someone stated earlier sexually or not id need some sort of face-to-face contact with the person.
However its is usually a good way to kindle a good fire.
 
I have done it you just have to be available when the other person needs you and you need to truly look forward to all interaction with them. After being in USMC for 9 yrs. you learn whats works and does not. Truth no matter what or you are wasting your time.
