In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Just registered with this wonderful forum and I thought I would say hello, so, HELLO! :D

I have not yet adopted any lovable reptiles because I simply do not know where to start. I would love some advice on what would be a good pet for a beginner like me. I would also like to possibly breed in the future, but it isn't a concern right now.

Anyway, thank you for this great board and I look forward to some helpful replies.

Welcome, Pablo, hello :)

I suggest you look through the forums and pictures prior to choosing your first reptile. As well, there may be a reptile show in your area nad you can go look at what they have and talk to the people there.
Welcome!

Welcome!

Thank you for your reply, might you have any idea of any shows in or around Milwaukee, Wisconsin?

I do not know; but look at the top of your screen, you will see a 'Forum Map'; click on that and it will open up all the forums here for you. Scroll down to a forum 'Shows and Events' and click on it and look. If you do not see what you are looking for, please post; the forum moderator is outstanding and helpful and if there is such a show I am sure he will look into finding it.

Thanks for the tips, I guess there is a show known as Sewerfest. Too bad I just found out about it, it's only a week away and I don't have enough time to take it off. :(

I've always had an interest in Corn snakes, I've also read that they are great beginner pets. Does anyone have any experience with Corn snakes as their first reptile? :D

Pablo, corns are great snakes. I'm more of a Python person myself; but if you ask about Corns in the cornsnake section you'll get plenty of tips and advice from those who keep corns. All the Best- Deb

PS Welcome!
