In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am grateful to be a sponor of the Leopard Gecko Forum here at Fauna, and would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.

My name is Kelli Hammack, and I am a 31 year old wife and mother living in Fort Worth, TX. My husband Stephen and I have a 2 year old son together, and I also have a 12 year old son and a 13 year stepson.

My main focus herpwise is leopard geckos, and I currently have somewhere around 160 breeders and holdbacks. My leo collection is very diverse, with many different bloodlines and several color and pattern morphs. I have been working with leopard geckos for almost 10 years now.

I also work with two species of Australian knob tail gecko, Nephrurus amyae and Nephrurus levis levis. I hope to expand my knobtail collection greatly in the next couple of years.

I have a small group of crested geckos, Rhacodactylus ciliatus that I enjoy working with as well. In the past I have worked with many other types of geckos such as Chinese Leopard and Chinese Tigers, Goniurosaurus sp., several species of Madagascan leaf tail geckos, fat tail geckos and some others.

Together my husband and I own a reptile breeding business called Herpetological Institute for Scientific Study, or H.I.S.S. We also have a medium sized collection of snakes that we love working with as well.

Well, that's about it! I hope to contribute to many interesting discussions here on the forum, and I am always here to help with any gecko related questions. Thanks for reading:)

Good to see you on Kelli, i myself have just joined over here. Hoping there are more serious discussions over here than at the other place. Too bad i always work Tue night so i wont be able to be in the chats, but we will see.

PS. do you know if there are going to be any more Clark shows in the metroplex this year? if you can PM me details if available.

Thanks Sybella, and hi Terry! I hope you get a chance to participate in one of our chats here on fauna. Our first one was a huge success, with 3 times the amount of people I have ever witnessed in any other reptile related chat!

The Bob Clark show will be held at the Arlington Convention Center on July 10-11. I hope you can make it, we all had a blast at the last one!

Think I may go up there as well, if I don't set up my own table (depends if I have enough geckos and chameleons hatch out by then), then I'll likely be the tall guy with blue hair around Kelli's table bugging her. Come stop by and say hi!

Hi Kelli!

You may or may not remember me from "the other place" So far this is looking much better. I hated just looking on that other forum here lately, i'm sure you know which one i'm talking about. I hope this is much better. Anyway, just thought i'd say hi and i know you will do a great job! See ya around.

Congrats

Hi Kelli,

Congrats and thanks for being a sponsor! Since my interest in Leopard Geckos from last year, I have always been checking out your site for the wonderful leos that you produce! I think it was from a different forum last year that I got your URL and I've heard nothing but great things about the leos you produce.

Take care and good luck! Happy Holidays! :santa:

Hi- I don't even know where to start-- I am completely new to forums, and have only had a gecko for 5 months. He is a male. I am looking for a female that looks similar to him for breeding (my son wants them to look alike). He wants to breed and it is actually his gecko. We don't want to spend a lot of money at this time on a female, but don't know even what to look for. I don't know anything about patterns, colors, etc. Where do you learn all of that. Our library has NO books on geckos. We got a basic one at the pet store where we bought our gecko, but it did not have pattern and color info in it. Any advice for me? Christy
