    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just curious how things are going for you new "mods" in your forums and what ideas you have come up with to help increase the activity in your paticular forums.
I did notice one mod that came up with the Banner Idea (great idea), and one MOD came up with species related games to get people to join in.
What other ideas are you guys/gals working on? How do you like it so far?
 
Personally I love being a moderator. I have met so many good people here and learned a ton of stuff I never thought of. As far as ideas, I am running short on those. Any suggestions?

Hey bub. :>poke2<: Instead of wasting time here in this forum asking the other moderators what they are doing, why don't you get on over to your own forum and come up with some ideas of your own there? :) :raspberry :)

One more thing, to answer your question, sort of. Your question naturally brings to mind whether or not the adding of moderators to the forums has helped any at all with getting those forums motivated. Well I think the following chart will show the results so far.

I think he's got some kind of amphibian reference book or something or else he really realy knows amphibians well. How is the "shows and Events" forum doing??
Have you made a complete listing for all the shows nation wide yet?? Have you emailed any of the shows to try to get members here discount coupons to the shows??
 
Bruce lowder is regular member/poster here and runs the White plains New York shows. He gets a lot of the members here at his shows(hundreds). I bet he might do a Fauna discount for members, if only to increase the numbers through the gate a little more!!!

I think he does the New England Reptile Expo too but i am not positive.

Shows and Events is going well. I also have the Kingsnakes forum, which is going well too.

I haven't gotten that ambitious yet. I've recently had a few changes in my life and I still have some things to take care of before I can go nuts here. :willy_nil

I'll keep this in mind and put it on my list of things to do.

How about you call the people who do Daytona and get them to donate a whole wing in the Hilton to the Fauna Mods during the convention... :hehe:
