I am thinking it would be good to have a sub-forum of the BOI dedicated to raising funds for Fauna that would help defray the cost of adding new equipment as well as ongoing expenses by auctioning donated items from Fauna members, visitors, and especially Fauna vendors. The auctions would run for a week and, since they would be part of the BOI (a sub forum) would be VERY choice, high profile spots; vendors who donated an item large or small would have the privilege of using an additional paragraph or so to describe their business.
So for members, this would be a chance to donate something to help Fauna, but for vendors it would be a chance at a super premium one week advertising spot (with the chance to help Fauna as well). I have already demonstrated that I can take a forum and make it fun and interesting; I hope that this new forum will be a place that is fun but useful as well.
I am getting a green light as far as trying my idea very soon, but since I will be involved in this forum I want to make sure everything looks perfect before I 'open the doors'.
I just can't think of a really neat, snappy name for my forum. It has to have something to do with the BOI, it has to be snappy, it has to be high class like me lol.
So here's YOUR chance to help Lucille. Please post ideas for names for this new forum here on this thread. I will take and review the list on Wednesday evening so you have a couple of days to think it over.
