    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Well, it appears this is on my shoulders. Without going into any details, I have some real pressing things on my mind right now, so I am going to apologize up front if the name I pick is not the best. But I DO have to pick something to get this off the ground before I have to hit the road for a few days. I guess I can always change it if the name doesn't fit as well a it should.

Obviously it's with Administrator permission but I've still gotta be that jerk who calls the cops on your party because of noise violations and ask...

Why the hell is this on the BOI? There's a feedback forum dedicated specifically to threads and topics like this one. The judgement in the past has generally favored appropriate forum placement for thread creation, even about issues a LOT more important than the name of a new forum. So why is this here?

Because, Seamus, this forum gets the highest amount of traffic, by far then any 100 other forums on this site. I was asked to put this here, and since it is helping ME and this site, that is what I did. I wouldn't have thought that this would be difficult for anyone to figure out.
 
Seamus, the new forum itself will be a sub-forum of the BOI and I will be the moderator. It made sense to have the contest here.
 
It might have been put into this forum because this area gets the most hits and page views?.... maybe the powers that be thought putting this thread on the BOI would generate the most traffic, responses, bids, and fund donations.

After all the threads and topics that you (and the moderator team) have moved (and rightly so) because they weren't appropriate topics for the BOI and weren't about specific individuals or businesses and business transactions? Actually... that was difficult to figure out. Given the level of integrity you've shown in the past it didn't once occur to me that you would apply all of your rules in a fair and even handed manner with the addendum that your personal interests can cause an immediate spot-violation of the standards that you have set up.

Still REALLY doesn't make sense based on THAT reasoning Lucille. Logically it would go in the feedback forum, the one for the discussion about site related issues. It's right in the description. I can accept Rich's explaination (although I'm kind of surprised given his stance on such matters in the past, this seems like a complete turnaround) but yours is simply absurd. This is NOT the most logical forum if the topic is considered, only when traffic is.
