In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

i came across this light a while back, It rocks at Candling eggs, I got it at Wal Mart for less than $5 so they shouldnt be hard to find, and the batteries are replacable, so it should last a while unlike some of the other penlights.
Just thought i would share.

Here is a pic of it in the package, so it will make it easier to find, and it does come with batteries.

The bulb and lense are recessed back a little, seems to fit eggs perfectly.

Thanks Terry...I'm going to pick one up this afternoon

Also, I'm not new to breeding leopards, but I am fairly new to candling...I did it a few nights ago because I've gotten a few more "duds" than normal lately...my question is, when it comes to candling if you see the "red glow" and some veins do you usually assume that it is fertile? ...as opposed to the "greenish/yellow" glow of an infertile egg? ...and do you ever get "something inbetween" (the other night I saw a greenish glow but with some veins showing...) I'm tired of seeing infertile eggs grow at the same rate as fertile ones and getting my hopes up only to be disappointed!

...any input ya'll can offer would be appreciated

Speaking of infertile eggs!
I know this is going to "freak"
some of you out, but I feed the infertile eggs to my tegus and they love them.
Hey, waste not want not! LOL

I guess my daddy taught me, eat evrything on your plate, and stop feeding that monitor lizard under the table !!!!

No I was just kidding!
The one I fed this morning was "way" old, I had left it in the incubator for extra long time, and it remained clear (actually yellowish) No vein's whatsoever.
Believe me I would never take a chance at losing one of my precious little babys.
