In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

FOX NEWS EXOTIC PETS POLL; VOTE!

Actually, can everyone help with a new thing? If you missed it, Fear Factor aired a horrible episode where people had to move Ball Pythons with their mouths, biting the snakes in the process and certainly injuring several. The NBC website, Fear Factor page, has a link showing the episode (which I"ve not been able to watch in full, it's just too upsetting). There is a comment section on the page. So far just myself and one other person have commented. But if we can all go on and let NBC know how upset we are about the episode, maybe they will crack down on the Animal Cruelty that the show is getting away with. Here is the link. I hope to see alot of scathing comments from my fellow reptile lovers!!!

they've done 25 since then - including Do you believe in ghosts and goblins?, Do You Believe Kim Kardashian's Story?, and Should a Person Go to Jail for Feeding Ducks?).

Not to take away from the point of this, (voting costs nothing and it can only help the cause), but I LOVE the other concept - I really want to vote on the Duck issue! :D

The bold print concerns me a bit. Can you say without a doubt that several were certainly injured? I've watched the video, and though not a fan, don't see how anyone can make that determination.

After reading my post and watching the episide, the wording of my post concerned you more than what happened on the episode? :shrug01:

Are you perhaps related to my Ex Husband?

What I posted was simply my personal opinion, and in my personal opinion I believe the snakes were certainly injured during that episode.

If I have to clarify on every post that what I put down is my personal opinion (really thought that went w/out saying) then perhaps this isn't the friendly option to the "other" forum that I though it was. :(

To put this forum back on track a bit, I just voted and the "yes" votes are up to 13,751. And the percentage is almost at 50%

I don't mean to be the party pooper, here, but instead of spending time voting in a poll barely anyone is going to look at, how about we all send letters to our Congressmen (sorry, I'm not PC) about the law they're trying to pass (again) that would add nine species of constrictor snakes to the Lacey Act? This would actually do some good!

Yes, I understand the argument that "it can't hurt." But it most certainly can hurt if people spend their time doing this instead of something that has been shown time and again can actually make a difference.
