    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I know connor has been viewing this thread so I'll put this offer on the table.. the op could press criminal charges against you connor. If you want to avoid that and do the right thing I would be happy to take the geckos and return them to the op so you can avoid having a criminal record. I hope you decide to do the right thing connor! I'm sure your future self will thank you if you do. If you want to take me up on my offer simply pm me and we can arrange to get the geckos to me so I can return them to the person they belong to. Being labeled as a scammer will stick with you forever. This post is here to stay. You have the chance now to end it positively instead of ending with you being a bad guy. I will happily post here again when I have the geckos between that and an sincere apology thus can be turned around!
 
Or you could pay for the geckos or send the turtles to the op which he seems open to, if you really have the turtles. But like I said my offer is an option as well.
 
I think every single person that reads this thread should call him or text and ask him what he's going to do. Maybe if everyone together puts a little pressure on him he will do the right thing.
I am not suggesting that anyone harasses him. Just ask him what are you planning to do.
 
If you want to make his parents aware of what he is doing, there is a simple way to do it. Start mailing post cards to his address (I think in the other thread there are 2 possible address)with clearly visible messages written in big black sharpie, saying things like "WHY WOULD YOU SCAM ME CONNOR?" and "PLEASE SEND ME MY ANIMALS BACK" or anything that will bring shame to him. He's probably still in school and can't possibly intercept the mail every day before his parents. I'm willing to bet they don't know he has done this (which is why he flipped out in the other thread when you started posting info on his family) but they will if you start mailing him things.
 
Good idea Shannon. Does anyone know his parents names? Can always send them a certified letter in the USPS, that only they can pick up at the post office...
 
That is also a good idea. I didn't think of that. I mostly suggested the post card idea because I saw someone do it and it helped- the kid's family was made aware and she got her snake back. The post cards can be particularly effective because the writing is visible to everyone since they aren't in an envelope.

It's not a prank, you have clearly been scammed. He even sent you photos of random geckos that aren't even actually dead. Nobody "pranks" people into having their animals stolen from them. Connor is just trying to cover his tracks. Poorly.
 
Someone could also send a letter to his grandma at the school she works at. Just make sure it's in an envelope not a post card because I'd hate for her to be embarrassed at her job.

I also wouldn't take offense to being a scammed because I know I'm not a scammed if he called me one. The only person wgo would take offense is the person it is true about
 
I know this, I already contacted his grandma. I've been trying trust me. He won't return anything. And I posted this thread because I was trying to reveal him as a fraud. You rather me have said nothing and 20 others get scammed?
