Several people have been sitting on additional information waiting for him to do the right thing, perhaps their patience will run out if he has not taken care of you already.

If I was a betting woman ... I would wager that Connor has not paid for the animals, nor does he intend on doing so. I would also take a gamble on Kile having washed his hands of the whole deal.

This thread was really weird to read lol. Like some have said, at the beginning I was feeling bad for you Kile, but from then on, your disassociation with reality really started to bug me. Did you really think that a scammer would just come to his senses? I'm not going to get too much into this, but maybe you should rethink your career choice. If you think the Coast Guard or any branch isn't interested in what you do in your spare time, you are very mistaken. Good luck getting a clearance if you think what you post on the internet is out of reach of the PI they will send you. I'm sure you already know how hard it is to get into the Coast Guard nowadays. Some advice for you if you do join, keep the budget cuts and drawbacks on your mind for anything you do. Be the best in your training class and jump start your career.

Kile, I didn't mean to offend you on any of the things I had said. My goal was to give you some wisdom. Also, just so you know, there are plenty of ways to get your pay cut i.e. UCMJ Article 15. But if you want to carry a conversation about this, you can shoot me a PM!
