    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Fred Albury... BUYER BEWARE!!! BAD GUY!!!

I wish you would show us all where I said (two or three times) that Fred is Afro-American. I'm not disputing that he is or is not, but if you're going to make a statement quoting or insinuating a quote, make sure you can back that up. I never said it once, let alone two or three times.
 
Chris, somoene said it, but I think it may have been Al, IIRC. It did come up though -- several pages back -- and I'd wondered the same thing.

This has sunk to an all-time low... now we are resorting to race? What does all this have to do with people getting what they ordered? Since it seems to be an issue, I am white, age 45, left handed, my Mother was a Jew and my Father was of German descent and my parents were disowned by both their families when they married back in 1949. I was born in April 1958 as a direct result of my father's drunkenness and my mother's availability at the time. Perhaps this will allow me, the founder of this thread, to avoid the scrutiny under which others are now being placed.


Is that satisfactory? This is the Board of Inquiry and apparently inquiring minds want to know.

Also...

Has anyone managed to get a DNA sample from Mr. Albury yet? What about the crash victims - any lingering trails of saliva hanging from a tree down there in Charlotte that you all might analyze in comparison? Then we'd know the truth!!!

The truth is, I posted that thread in order to get some satisfaction regarding a sale or deal between myself and Mr. Albury. That has been taken care of. This is no longer my issue and I humbly request that this thread be stopped or restarted by someone else.

The earlier mention of such was VERY early in the thread that I started reading yesteday sometime. Forgive me for having NO desire to read through it all again to figure out who made first mention of such.

And Landon, race was brough up as "proof" that it was not, in fact, Fred's brother on the plane. Frankly, I don't care one way or another... I was just trying to make sure my memory served me correctly on who Fred Albury even is.

How dare you come on here and say "this has sunk to an all-time low" in light of what Fred has done to others. No one has turned this into a race issue. It seems funny how when the heat against Fred gets stronger, you get angrier. What possible ulterior motive could be behind your post??? Did Fred call you to threaten lawsuit for defamation or something? Don't worry, he has to be telling the truth in order to sue you. You obviously have ZERO sympathy for those who have lost alot more than you did and will probably never recover their losses as you have. They have no less right than you to pursue this matter. If you want this to end sooo bad, then why don't you send the victims the money they lost? Ludicrous statement, isn't it? I'm sorry Landon if this seems abrasive, but your constant change of stance on this issue over the last year has been extremely confusing!

In light of the facts I have learned through this thread, do not accept partial payment. I think you have every right in the world to pursue this each and every way you can. I hope it all works out.

I do believe Fred is totally screwed.

As far a race, I don't think anyone here really cares it was simply brought up to press home a point regarding honesty not skin color.

Al told me that in order for a check to be deemed "satisfactory" of payment, it has to be signed "payed in full". I agree though that this should not even be an option. Just my opinion. It should be all or nothing.
 
Clarification for Mr. Kennard et al on my views of dishonesty

I do not deny people their opportunity to seek out justice as I have, but as I see it, we all know John Skipper's situation; he has offered his proof. We all know my situation; I have offered my proof; we all know Ann's situation, she has in turn offered hers.

I have at no time said that fred is not guilty of any wrongdoing in this; the proof is on the table, what more need be said. In fact, Fred has stipulated to all of these claims against him. What more need be said? If he takes care of it, it should be duly noted as I think I have done, and as Ann has done for the part that did go according to plan.

I still do not understand what the color of Fred's skin or anything else has to do with not delivering product. Let the facts stick up for themselves. And let his future actions (if any) dictate whether he is seen as a 'good guy' or 'bad guy'.

If you are hell-bent on determining his honesty, stop the speculation and do a DNA test as I suggested earlier. Find out from the IRS if he has paid the appropriate taxes. Check the traffic division in his hometown for possibly some unpaid parking tickets. None of this has anything to do with whether someone gets their shipment of snakes or not. And how does race determine if someone is telling the truth or not? Which race is it that indeed tells the truth?

Here are some more questions you can ask to determine a person's honesty:

Did he, when he moved, notify his automobile insurance provider that he had additional miles to commute to work each day and therefore receive a revised rate? If not, DISHONEST!!!

Most states have a 10 day policy for changing driver license addresses... did he file a change of address within that 10-day period after relocating? If not, DISHONEST!!!

Or, you might try dropping a wallet in front of him and see if he returns it - AND all its contents - if not, DISHONEST!!!

In my book, he has already proven himself dishonest just by simply not shipping what was supposed to be shipped and then/or then not refunding the money. He admitted he did not have the money to send out. Spending someone else's money is...DISHONEST!!

What else need be said?

Planes, automobiles, what's the difference? Dishonesty has already been proven!! Temporary or circumstantial, dishonesty is dishonesty. It has nothing to do with race or any other inherent trait - I believe dishonesty is a learned 'skill' and has more to do with upbringing than genetics. Don't you agree?

Really. Payment in full either merchandise or cash is the only option I would accept if I were still waiting.

If Fred is indeed found out to be a 'bad guy' perhaps it is only with regards to internet sales. I have no idea of his rep at shows, etc. but the shipment he sent me was just fine, looked great, etc.

Some just lack the discipline to do internet sales - I see it on eBay all the time.

The race thing really has nothing to do with skin color. So dont even go there no one is making judgments because hes black white or purple(from holding his breath to long hoping wed go away LOL) who ever brought it up did so without prejudice because of color. It was brought up due to the fact that the people who died were white. Whoever brought it up thought Fred was black and that was his arguement for why Fred couldnt be related to the people who died. IT WAS NOT brought up to say Fred is guilty because hes black end of story we dont need to hear anymore, theres a huge differance. I could have said something long ago about him being half black/white but IMO thought this would happen and I dont see how it is relavent anyway. Fred has a long standing history of lieing and playing the feel sorry for me trip. With that and the fact he hasnt shown anything otherwise in mind I believe the plane crash is another one of his antics. I dont care if he is pink with yellow pok a dots, he lied. So Landon dont go there you are SERIOUSLY reading way to deep or something into this. NO ONE has made Fred out to be guilty because of race. Fred has been made guilty because of the facts.

As to his race, I think it's been stated that someone mentioned it in connection to him changing his story from "brother" to "step brother" when he was asked about it. That's hardly "playing the race card," is it? I think your accusations of racism are a lot more offensive than any other comments seen so far in the thread. Skin color, just like eye and hair color, is an identifying characteristic. If someone brought it up to point out he bears little resemblance to his relatives, this would be no more racist than pointing out that he had a different hair color. Apparently, he was questioned on it, and changed the terminology used in his story.

Does the plane crash story have any bearing on the basic facts of the case? Not for me. The fact is, he refused to refund the money to three customers after failing to deliver the product. For me, that's good enough not to deal with him. For other people, the fact that he didn't follow through in and of itself, is forgivable if he fixes things. Some people will buy into sob stories and figure that even though the person was in the wrong, there were mitigating circumstances. It is not out of line to examine any mitigating circumstances offered, IMO. While it's not the job of the board to scrutinize somone and brand a scarlet letter in their forehead, it is certainly of interest whether or not an excuse offered as mitigating circumstances in a deal was valid or not.

This is the second time you've demanded the thread be shut down. I suggest you go read the rules for the board again. Once a thread is started on a person or business, further comments on the person or business go in that thread. It's an open forum, and open discussion will take place. If you can't handle the structure of the board, you should write Webslave and discuss it with him.
 
I have been reading this thread. No, I see no reason to shut it down as long as information is being provided that would help be a quide to anyone reading this thread.

But the discussion about race will end NOW. It was not brought up in the context that Landon has inferred it was. And it wil NOT go in that direction at all. Any attempts to do so will get your message deleted. Prejudicial remarks are a 6 pointer on the warning scale, so tread there carefully.

Landon, I think it's about time for you to grow up. Your "humbly request" was a far cry from humble. Your attitude has been entirely out of line and, in fact, demanding.

You don't get to run the board.

Based on the fact that you used the board to successfully get your snake, I don't see that the way the board is run needs to be changed. I "respectfully" and "humbly" suggest you quit ranting and raving about the direction the conversation is taking, and let the moderators do their jobs.

You hit the nail right on the head!!! This board DID work for Landon. I doubt he would have ever seen his snakes had it not been for Fauna. Landon, you should be quietly grateful. Others have not been so fortunate.

What I have underlined there is the ONLY reason it was brought up. Now back to where this shoudl be!

John still doesnt have his money! Yes the plane crash is a valid factor in all this. It shows to any potential future customers the lenghts he will go to, to steal their money and try to keep them quite. Any one who believed the whole plane crash thing that he had stolen money from would have never come here feeling sorry for him. Now that people know he will go to these great lentghs to make them pity him, they will step foward, because they know its bull. But John still doesnt have his money and Sal is still in hiding!
