    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

its fine someone wants her they can come pick her up by next tueday or she goes to the humane society and if they dont adopt her out they do what they have to do

its a cancelled check. you doing anything with it is illegal is it not??? somone else explain this as i dont quite know myself. But i DO know that it SOUNDS wrong on so many levels....

Simply put, iluvemypets (that was hard to type without laughing) ... you're messed up. Call a local rescue and they will come pick it up. Unlike you, there are people out there that truly care about their pets and the welfare of pets that arent even theirs. There are even people like me who take in burms so people dont dump them even though I have no want for a large burm with a bad attitude (or honesltly any more burms than I already have).

As for your stupidity with the check ... ROFLMAO!

So you are going to try and cash it still??? How do you figure that is legal :shrug01: ?? YOU STILL HAVE THE SNAKE!! Her check was not some sort of charity for you, it was for the purchase of a snake which she never received. DUH!!

A collection agency "buys" debts for a fraction of what the original debt was, usually a few cents on the dollar. If you were to find one foolish enough to take this check, you'd probably get, oh...50 cents or so. However, since Tanya never received anything from you, there is no "debt" to be settled...she owes you nothing.

I've never heard of a bank that isn't going to charge you between $20-$40 in return check fees when the check bounces......and as long as the check sender can prove she notified you and you KNEW it was cancelled~ you won't have a legal leg to stand on to even get your returned check fee back! LOL~ oh~ and proving she told you should be pretty easy~ considering the date stamps on the public forum where she told you repeatedly!

First off, that comment just shows how much "iluvmypets" truly cares about animals in general. Do you know how many times those of us have done rescue of ANY kind have heard that threat? They don't want to take the responsibility of a pet they have, so they try to make others feel guilty, like it is someone else's fault that the animal may be destroyed if we don't rescue it. :hot: I have heard so many dumb excuses in the past but this one REALLY PISSES ME OFF! Mike, I for one am going to let everyone I know in rescue about this thread and I wouldn't be surprised to see you land on alot of DNA lists.
As for the check issue, now that is a laugh. Karma is really buddy and I can't wait to see it come back on you! And no one on this board would ever deal with you so go bother someone else.
