• In case most of you have not noticed, I made changes to the donation amounts as well as the durations for all of the paid membership levels. Things are winding down here, and this seems to be the most prudent way to deal with the "end of life" period of this site.

    Contributor level members - $10 per 30 days
    Sponsors - Eliminated
    Benefactor level members - $25 per 30 days
    Endowment level members - $50 per 30 days

    On July 1, 2027, all paid memberships will be closed.

    On August 1, 2027, FaunaClassifieds will be terminated.

    Only change I expect that might take place is when I can get around to figuring out when the amount of money I would have to refund for the yearly paid memberships becomes less than the monthly expense of leasing my server, THAT date might be the termination date for the site.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

I’ve done a bit too well with my Lepidodactylus lugubris (Mourning Geckos) colony and now have a surplus of various ages looking for new homes. These little geckos are perfect for anyone wanting an easy, fascinating reptile or looking to add to an existing group.

  • Details:
    • Ages: Mixed (juveniles to adults) - roughly 8 juveniles, 12 subadults and 6 adults.
    • Cost: FREE
    • Location: DMV area – pick-up only (i.e., Virginia, Maryland, DC area)
Mourning Geckos are beginner-friendly and low-maintenance, thriving on Pangea diets and occasional crickets with minimal upkeep. Known for their unique parthenogenetic reproduction, they go egg-to-egg easily, making them a fun and self-sustaining species to keep. Very active, vocal, and social animals.
