    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

moving out and can take my bp rack, but my rubbermaid loose tubs can't go, so im giving my pine and bull away, both about 4 foot, bought at the last charolotte NC repticon show. i have NO clue on shipping them, but i will be at the Gila productions Raeigh NC show in may and can meet anywhere in the hickory- Gastionia-statesville-boone area for pick-up will come with 42 qt. tubs. please take them, its sad i have give them up, both good feeders, bull will take from tongs but pine, like for you to lay rat inside and eat in privacy. pm for my details or phone #, the just ate, so no pics at moment.

also no re-home fee crap, straight up free

it will cost alot if i ship with rubbermainds but W/O them i guessed at 5 lbs. since im at class at moment the next day air is 43.00 and the ground is 9.00 if i can find some deli cups and pack and a box and pack them right, it might be cheaper.

a heat pack on the top styofoam. it has to be next day however you ship it. there's an instructional video on how to pack them on ship your reptiles website. can you email or PM me and we can figure everything out? [email protected]

Bubble wrap will kill your animals. Surrounding something in plastic will cause suffocation :rolleyes:

Styrofoam on bottom, sides, and top. Snake in a pillowcase in the middle of all the styrofoam and surround the pillow case with crunched up newspaper to fill all the empty spaces to prevent the snake from bouncing around. A heat pack will possibly be needed and you'd place it on the bottom or tape it to the side of the box. When you tape the box dont cover the corners where the ends meet. It will allow some airflow exchange.

Not trying to start a brawl here but many people use pillow cases to ship, even some top breeders (the ones I have done business with at least). I have always used pillow cases to ship any of my snakes unless they are hatchlings or a small species and in that case a deli cup is used.

Even in shows all that is generally used are deli cups and pillow cases when purchased. I seldom see snake bags being used anymore. So if pillow cases are not sufficient airflow then why use them at all?

i don't use tem because the fibers are too closely woven together, if you and others use em, that's on you. i just wouldn't myself. and no, no brawling here lol. i see where you're comin from man, i've just had a bad experience with a pillow case. i use them for transporting and shows. but it just doesn't seem enough in an insulated box.

The only real "snake bags" are for hots. The ones that I've seen(might just be me) are actually mealworm bags.

GL on getting your animals tho.

The only way I think a pillow case would do harm is if the person tied the pillow case so close to the snake that it suffocated it. If using a pillow case (or any type of bag) you should allow room for the snake to move which would help airflow get in and out.

Or maybe the person tied part of the snake with the knot when they were closing the pillow case??? :eek:

Anyway, good look with the adoptions.
