    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

whats the best method to get a BP used to f/t instead oif live mice. he has been eating live since birth (6 mth..) is there a chance? or should i keep feeding him live?? if yes, should i buy a mousethe day its feeding time? what if she doesnt eat it then. then what? put her where? oh and wouldnt there be a high chance, that he will strike at me more likely??? i got this BP yesterday, as many of u know. and shes very sweet. i held her, she explored every inch of me.lol and didnt wanna get back in the viv. ;)

My own personal way to switch is to use fresh killed at first. Dangle low about 1/2 in front of snake (do not let it touch the snake) and jerk it just a bit while moving the mouse in a "C" pattern around the snake's head. It should nail it.

Also if this doesn't work try waiting a few days. If the snake is used to being fed weekly, wait 10 days, or so.

After it is used to fresh killed try thawed. Also each time you dangle, move the mouse around less and less. For me, at least, eventually I can leave it in the cage and not dangle.

There are a lot of more experienced ball keepers here so perhaps they have another method :) I am currently switching one of my new balls to thawed as well. I just know this always works for me.

Edit: also use tools and not hands to dangle. There are several tools on the market :)
