• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Full name requirement in the classifieds section.

Whatever...

Why should that be Rich's responsibility??
Not that it's his responsibility, but he did recieve her money when she became a conributing member. Why take the time to start this thread, and consider taking the time to enforce the Full Name rule in the classified section, and not consider sending the helpful PM to a paying customer?
There is a BOI thread with her username, she might have noticed it...and the comments on that subject. Besides, you're already communicating with her, and will be face to face with her in the near future - if you think such an explanation would benefit her, go for it.
She may have...may not have? I will inform her of the BOI thread, suggest putting her first name in her ads, and explain the whole anonymous seller = red flag, with internet sales when I meet her.
Interesting, though, that she would be Marcy to you...and Mandy to the person that posted the thread on the BOI.
She may have said Mandy...lol. I was storing her phone # on my cell phone a several hours after our conversation, and stored it as "Marcy." I wan't sure, but thought that was what she had said. I wouldn't use that as Exhibit A in the witch hunt.

There's no witch hunt (that I am aware of)...and I don't care one way or the other if people post their names in their ads. If I'm interested in an advertised animal/product, I'll ask. If the person doesn't want to tell me, I move on.
(as far as Mandy vs Marcy, I was well aware when I typed it that either you or the other poster could have gotten the name wrong...it still stuck out in my mind, which was why I mentioned it. Personally, I would prefer to think of it as a customer error, as it would seem to further color the red flag of anonymity if she gave two different names.)
