We have this some what mentally ill prisoner that we put in a pod by himself. He decided to bust sprinkler head in day room. One...Hell...Of... A...Mess...
Alarm went off and I was in basement. Started opening rooms looking for fire. IT guy says look here and on his computer he had video cameras up. Water every where.
Run into mechanical room, turn off upper and lower sprinkler valves. Grab keys and run to Post outside to shut that off.
Deal with firemen then call my Fire Suppression company. I stock several different heads but the correctional ones take special adapter to remove plus you need to be certified (To take off valve and replace with new one wrapped in plumbing tape)
Guy comes out and promptly breaks new head. Will take a week to get new ones in. 1 he broke and a spare. They put in a regular type until new ones come in.
I tell jail administrator not to use D pod because unlike the other ones this one will break in less than 5 seconds. Says I have to use it. I said OK, Do not call me at home if it happens and call fire dept to handle.
5 months from Open Heart Surgery and I was running up and down steps numerous times, Hauling huge floor fans to dry out jail, various water areas downstairs but luckily most in garage. Early night tonight.
