• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I was pondering this afternoon on how certain adjectives are used on this site all out of proportion to their normal frequency of use in the 'real' world.
Plus, I will be taking a course on Federal Income Tax beginning in another 10 days. The two worlds collided and I came up with a Revenue Enhancement Opportunity!!!!!

Here's what I think:

The following adjectives/nouns used on this site are positive and thus will be revenue neutral:

Principled,Ethical,Good Guy,Top Notch,Sweet,High Class,Outstanding

The following adjectives/nouns used on this site are negative but descriptive in an informational sort of way and thus will be revenue neutral:

Scammer,Thief,Liar

These, however, are negative and have little socially redeeming value. I propose to put an excise tax on their use:

Crybaby,Pathetic,Idiot,Dumbass,yo Mama,Moron

Just IMAGINE the revenue.... .. ..

you forgot a few others on the negative list but honestly thats an unrealistic fund raiser since mods give out points as they seem fit, for the reason of warning someone and if they get suspended then they pay. which is revenue for this site. (and each subsequent suspension fine is doubled) so there >=P

No redeeming value? Yeah, just like the people they're being used on.

Those words ARE getting a little old. I'm sure the skilled people who use the above words could come up with new ones of equal value to replace them. We have some very witty guys on this site and I'm sure it wouldn't tax them at all to come up with the new words.

That was funny! We do have some witty people here, I have heard some terrific descriptions....

Lucille has me supposedly on ignore (someone might want to cut and paste for her viewing pleasure) LOL but umm that word you mentioned up there is worth 15 points
