    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I don't get excited often by snakes breeding. It's too long from copulation to eggs to babies with far too many opportunities for catastrophic failure along the way.

However, I did just witness my nicest female Super Hypo copulating with the most unusual male super hypo I've ever produced. When she was done she macked on a Jumbo rat.

I haven't bred my FWCs in a couple of years so this is pretty cool. She is the biggest FWC I've ever seen, over 9ft and 10lbs empty. He's a toothpick compared to her, barely 5ft and maybe 2lbs, but he got the job done at least once. I'll be pairing them up for the next few weeks too.

If and when she lays, I'll post up pics of the clutch. There should be some very cool and possibly unique babies out of these two.

no problem; by the way - good luck with the pairing! I had no clue they got that big!

hey wes, what are you conditions that they are breeding (ie, temps, set up, did she or he or both go off feed prior, etc) ??

No specific heat for them. The room runs around 72 to 80 this time of year. She's slowed down on feeding but has not stopped. Like I said, she chowed a HUGE rat this morning. I probably offer her food every 7 to 10 days and she eats 2 out of 3 times this time of year. When it warms up a bit more she'll eat more often. He is also eating through the winter. Individuals differ in their eating habits, some stop, some don't, some just slow down.

Wes, not sure how I missed this post...I don't get on here as much as I would like with everything thats goin on but man am I glad I saw this. Two of the neatest looking supers I've ever seen. Please count me in for a mini me version of the dam. I have to get in on this breeding :) good luck, hope the clutch is doing well!

Sadness. Much sadness. She double clutched this year. 49 slugs. It was the males first go and I missed her second ovulation. I've got one other super girl that I'm going to put him in with this weekend and hope for some Xmas babies. Next year though, I'm thinking it's going to be Hypo City here.

They were laying tail to tail this morning, but there was no copulating going on. They did have about 14 uninterupted hours before that though, so maybe they were just 'resting.'
