    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Do not take a check from Gabreil Suarez of Denton, Texas.
We sold 3 snakes( BALL PYTHONS) to him and he wrote us a check on a account that is closed. We are now taking action. He has no phone but I did contact a relative. I have given him ample time to contact me. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
 
Sorry thats GABRIEL SUAREZ. I thought I was calm enough to post . This is my second check in 8 years of selling reptiles so my stomach is still flipping when I think about it.
 
You didnt send the snakes out before the check clearded, did you?? If so then thats a lesson you need to learn. I have been burned a couple of times and now I do things a little different because of scumbags like this guy. I feel for you. Damian
 
They came to my house to pick them up. No I would of waited for the check to clear if it was to be mailed. I had placed a ad in the paper. Have done so before with no problems. Now it is cash only....I do accept credit cards but no more checks...One bad apple spoils it for all
 
On most personal checks there is a phone number for the bank the check is issued from. You can call that number to verify that funds are available. You might have to get a social security or pin number from your customer but you can have them enter it for you.

Keep in mind that these numbers may be 24 hours old, or more, but you will definately know if the account is closed. I used to do this in my shop when I got "that feeling" about someone. It works.
